INTRODUCING: RISK SCORES ON THE ARKHAM API

We’ve upgraded the Arkham API. You can now see any address/entity’s Risk Score - a number between 0-100 assessing each address/entity’s exposure to illicit activity on-chain. It’s available as an add-on to an Arkham API subscription.

Risk Scores grade addresses/entities according to how connected they are to known or suspected illicit on-chain activity.

They assess funds sent from and received by the address/entity in question, and are calculated using a weighted average of exposure across the themes in the table below:

Every Risk Score comes with a Risk Briefing. This includes:

• Reasoning behind the score
• Categories assigned to the source address/entity
• Risky connected addresses to the source address/entity

Arkham Risk Scores go a step beyond traditional compliance tools by using Arkham’s 7.1B address tags and 837K entity profiles as the foundation for risk assessments.
