Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) has expanded its Bitcoin treasury again, acquiring 250 BTC ($21.5 million) while also repurchasing $192 million worth of its STRC perpetual preferred stock, according to a Monday announcement.

The company bought the BTC between October 5 and October 11 at an average price of $86,194 per coin. The purchase was funded primarily through at-the-market sales of MSTR - 125,183 shares for net proceeds of $21.0 million - with the remaining $0.5 million coming from Strategy's USD Cash facility.

    Treasury Growth

Following the purchase, Strategy now holds 848,250 BTC as of October 11, 2026. The treasury represents approximately 4.04% of Bitcoin's fixed maximum supply of 21 million coins.

Strategy's BTC stack was bought at an average price of $75,444 per bitcoin for a total cost of $64 billion, including fees and expenses.

    STRC Buyback

Alongside the Bitcoin acquisition, Strategy repurchased 1,932,145 shares of STRC for $192.4 million. The company said $354.8 million remains available under its digital credit securities repurchase program, with a further $1.0 billion available under its MSTR repurchase program.

As of today, the USD Reserve sits at $4.88 billion, whilst the USD Cash facility sits at $640.5 million.

The latest acquisition follows Strategy's purchase of 334 BTC ($28.7M) last week.

    Daily Dividends

This latest purchase comes ahead of the October 28 shareholder vote on moving Strategy's preferred stock to a daily dividend system. If successful, the first daily dividend will be paid to STRC holders on November 1st.
